The Lady Spartanstook on the Summerland Bobcats and Creighton Bulldogs at Clearwater on Tuesday evening. the first set walsall Summerland as they won 25-14. The passing, the attacking, and all other parts of the game were lacking inthefirstset.Thesecond set though theSpartans put together a game and only came out short by a 25-23 score. In this match Lauryn Hoffman had 6 kills, Mariah Smalley had4 and Daydra Ziesler had 3, with Haylie Carson and Kalli Kayl each having1. Heather Atkinson playing Liebro had 8 digs while Mariah and Lauryn each had 6. Hannah Drueke had 7 set assists while Alex Brestel had 6.Mariah also had the lone ace serve in the match. In The second match of the night The Spartans defeated Creighton 26-24 and 25-21 intwo hard fought sets. In this match Kalli Kayl had 3 solo blocks and Daydra had 2. Heather had 12 digs, Mariah had 7 and Lauryn had 6. Haylie had 5 kills with only 1 hitting error while Lauryn had 6 kills and Kalli 5, Daydra 3 and Mariah 2 Heather had a back row kill. The setters Alex and Hannahhad 9 and 10 set assists.
