BC Spartans Fight Their Way to District Finals!

Our Spartans did an amazing job in their 2022-23 Basketball Sub-Districts and District games! These boys have fought exceptionally hard to get where they did and we as a student body are more than proud to have them representing our school. Our boys started their battle with the first round against the Bloomfield Bees. This game was hosted on the Ainsworth Bulldog’s home court on February the 21st. Our boys took it home with a winning score of 51-41. Next round, the Spartans battled against the Ainsworth Bulldogs in Ainsworth on February 24th. The Bulldogs felt their defeat with a score of 59-41. This win took our boys to the D-1 District Finals held at the Grand Island Northwest High School. These boys went head to head with North Platte St. Pats. Although the boys were ahead by mid second quarter, unfortunately they didn’t receive the turnout they were expecting with a losing score of 58-37. This was unfortunately the end of the 2022-23 Boys Basketball season. We appreciate all of the hard work and dedication you boys have put into this sport and are proud of your hard work. A Spartan boys team hasn’t seen District Finals since 2017. Thank you Spartans and great job on receiving the 2023 Boys D-1 Runner-Up title!
