The Boyd County Junior High Girls Basketball team played their last games of the season at West Holt on Friday. In the first game the team fell to the Huskies 6-38. Brooklyn Eckert, ReNae Kluckman and Jaylee Lechtenberg each scored once for the Spartans.
In the second game, the Spartans were able to secure a 22-13 victory. Lechtenberg led the way with 9 points followed by Kluckman with 7. Ashlynn Finnegan supplied 4 points and Liz Arellano added a basket. The young Spartans played the best game of their year in the last game.
Coach Hart and the players would like to thank Kalli Kayl for helping coach the team this year.
