The Boyd County Junior High Girls Basketball team traveled to West Holt, dropping two games to the Huskies. In the first game, the Spartans came out on the wrong side of a 6-34 score. Aurora Ziebro provided the bulk of the scoring for the Spartans, finishing with 4 points. Destiny Bennet added a late basket for the BC total.
The second game was much more competitive, before the Spartans fell 22-15. The Huskies grabbed an early lead that Boyd County could not overcome. Jaylee Lechtenberg finished with 10 points, followed by Claire Reiman with 4 and Ashlynn Finnegan with 1.
