On Friday, October 21, 2022 the Boyd County Cross Country team headed to Kearney to participate in the State Cross Country Meet. Weather was a bit warmer than XC runners expect for a late October meet, but it still made for good running weather.
Freshman Will Nelson competed at noon sharp. He competed well on the hilly course and placed 63rd out of 129 runners with an 18:56 time. Nelson takes the 10th spot on Boyd County's Top Ten State Times record list. Congrats to Will on a successful freshman season!
Senior and four year state qualifier Natasha Zeisler completed her high school career placing 57th out of 124 runners with a 22:55 time. Zeisler holds the top four stops on the Top Ten State Times record list. Congrats to Natasha on an excellent high school career!
