The 2022 NVC Instrumental Clinic will be held this year at the Wheeler Central High School in Bartlett on March 21, 2022. This will be attended by our high school band only. Band students will be eating an early lunch in O'Neill. Please send money for your child for this meal, or send a sack lunch if you desire. The Wheeler Central School will be serving an early supper of spaghetti and sides. The cost will be $7.00 per student. Please send $7.00 to Mrs Hausmann by March 18th so she can make the meal payment to the school. If your child does not with to eat the spaghetti meal, please sent them with a sack lunch.
Students may wear nice clothes for the day's rehearsals. They will be wearing their band uniforms for the concert. The concert will be held at 5:30pm in the Wheeler Central gym, and will be free of charge to the public. Please come and support the Boyd County Band and all of the other West Conference bands.
If you wish to have your child ride home with you after the concert, a written permission note must be handed to Mrs. Hausmann, and your child is responsible for their instrument and band uniform being returned to the school.
Schedule:
- 10:30am - Leave the school and eat in O'Neill on the way
- 12:15pm - Arrival
- 12:30pm - First rehearsal
- 2:00pm - Break
- 2:15pm - Second rehearsal
- 3:45pm - Individual school rehearsals
- 4:00pm - Honor Band rehearse in the gym while Conference band eats and changes for concert
- 4:45pm - Conference band rehearse in the gym while Honor Band eats and changes for concert
- 5:30pm - Concert in the Wheeler Central Gym - Open to the public free of charge.
