As this school year comes to an end, Boyd County has to say good-byes to some staff members who have spent many years in the school system. Mrs. Benson will be retiring after 26 years at Boyd County. Gene Soukup is joining the retiree world after 33 years. Mary Fletcher follows them out the door after 30 years in the district. Veldon Johnson has also decided retirement looks like a great idea after many years of getting kids to and from school. While it's sad to see them go, we wish them well in their new lives as official retirees of Boyd County!
