Boyd County girls in 3rd - 6th grade are encouraged to join the after school program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident. Come be a part of the 9th season of Girls on the Run (GOTR) fun in Boyd County.
The Boyd County Team has received a generous donation from the Spencer Community Foundation Fund to go towards tuition. Each girl can register on line for only $20.00. This is the lowest tuition in the state!
The GOTR 10 week program will start on Tuesday, February 25th. Girls meet with the coaches after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays (when school is in session) from 4:00 - 5:15 at the attendance centers in Spencer and Butte. Each parent/guardian will be responsible for arranging transportation to and from GOTR.
The regional 5K will be held in O'Neill on Sunday, May 3rd. Each girls will need an adult Run Buddy to accompany her on the course. Registration for the 5K will open in March and more information will be available at that time.
To register online visit www.GOTRNebraska.org. When registering, be sure to correctly specify which site - either Spencer or Butte - that your child will attend.
