The Business Management students at Boyd County recently participated in the Chadron State College “Best of the West” Business Invitational. There were nearly 200 high school students from across Nebraska who competed in the virtual competition. Boyd County brought home the championship trophy, placing 1st out of 25 schools. Chadron named the top 5 individual winners in each event. Placing for Boyd County were:
1st place – Lauryn Hoffman (Job Interview)
1st place – McKenzie Snyder (Introduction to Business)
2nd place – Paige Drueke (Introduction to FBLA)
3rd place – Liz Kersch (Introduction to FBLA)
4th place – Trevor Goesch (Introduction to Business)
4th place – Lanie Lechtenberg (Introduction to FBLA)
5th place – Brayden Almgren (Business Communications)
Also competing for Boyd County were Kaesin Ellwanger, Joshua Kersch, Chase Snyder, Halie Faus, Amelia Hoffman and Amelia Hakl.
