The Boyd County Fourth Grade Class at Butte released their butterflies on Monday, August 31. They received 10 very small caterpillars in the mail on Friday, August 14. They quickly grew to large caterpillars and formed cocoons. In less than 2 weeks 6 of the 10 cocoons hatched into beautiful painted lady butterflies.
