We would like to officially welcome you and your student to Boyd County Kindergarten! It is an unusual situation this year, but Mrs. Roth and Mrs. Black want to reach out to you to let you know they missed seeing you at Kindergarten Round-up, due to Directive Health Measures, but are SO EXCITED to meet you and welcome you to kindergarten.
We will make plans to have a Kindergarten Open House in late summer, but in the meantime, we want to share this important information with you, that would usually be shared during Kindergarten Round- up.
On our school website www.boydcounty.org, you will find a “Parents” tab. Please click on that tab and find “Kindergarten Forms”. Here you will find the essentials for registering your child for kindergarten. They include:
-A Registration form
-A Physical Examination form to be filled out by your doctor
-An updated Immunization form to be completed by your doctor. Some doctors may have their own form for you to bring to school. That will be fine.
-A School Vision form to be completed by a doctor
-Don’t forget that we need an original copy of your child’s birth certificate, as well. You may bring that to school and we will make our own copy.
These forms may be brought all together when we are finally able to have our Open House.
Finally, we are interested to know which campus your child will be attending. We have included a link to the quick survey on the Parents’ tab (Kindergarten) on the school website. The survey will also be available on our school facebook page.
