Secondary Principal

Job Description: 
Boyd County Public Schools is accepting applications for a Secondary Principal for the 2018-2019 school year. Boyd County School district encompasses the entirety of Boyd County, as well as reaching into Holt and Knox Counties.  We are looking for a highly motivated principal that possesses strong skills in educational leadership. Boyd County Public Schools is a Class D school district with approximately 350 students in grades PreK-12. A valid Nebraska Teaching and Administrative Certificate is required for the position. Spencer is Located 30 miles from O’Neill, NE and 65 miles from Mitchell, SD in Northeast Nebraska and is known for its outdoor opportunities.  We are located just minutes from Fort Randall dam, offering an abundance of outdoor activities.  Coaching opportunities may be available with this position, but not required.
Start date for this position will be August 1, 2018.  The Secondary Principal will be required to reside within the boundaries of the district.  Salary will be commensurable with experience. Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach

Job Description:

Boyd County Public Schools is a vast thriving district with a PK-12 enrollment of approximately 350 students. Boyd County has a rich basketball history and will be competing in class D1. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as our Varsity Head Boys Basketball Coach with an outstanding ability to communicate with players and guide them. The successful candidate will have a high passion for coaching basketball and building a winning team and also be highly organized and passionate about working with student athletes. The successful candidate must hold a Teaching Certificate or Special Services Coaching Permit with the Nebraska Department of Education, or be willing to attain a coaching permit. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
