The second through six grade math students at Lynch have been busily working on a STEM Scaling project. The students selected a movie cartoon character, and put it on grid paper. The students then numbered the grid, assigned students numbers to draw, then assembled the papers to form a large scale drawing of their movie character. Many group problem solving strategies were employed, as they faced the many decisions within the project. The students were happily surprised as a bunch of scribbles came together to form their selected character. Kudos from Mrs. McBride on a job well done, students!
